Youth Programming
The youth program started up again after the holidays up at Panorama on Saturday Jan. 6th
Cross Country BC is joining SportBC, which means families can apply for KidSport funding for cross country skiing effective immediately. In the essence of time for programming for THIS season (e.g. Jackrabbits etc), KidSport BC has recommended the best way to get funds quickly is to apply through the Provincial Office/Fund of KidSport. They can provide up to $400 per child, per calendar year. They process grants twice a month (middle and end) for the Provincial Fund, so the turnaround is usually quite quick.
For more information and to find the application head to https://kidsportcanada.ca/british-columbia/
Adult Programming
Our adult programming started January 4th with a record number of participants! A little treat was set out at Panorama for the first night by the Adult Programming coordinator and one of the coaches. They came out and set out about 50-75 candles along the Paradox and connector trails to light the night.
The Saturday group started January 6th at Nipika Mountain Resort and was greeted by a snowfall! Perfect conditions for skiing.
There is still a little time to register for our set of programs.
